Hi there,

Anyone have an idea where to get the Mule Team in (can ship to) Canada? I tried to search online, seems can only find result in 2nd hand market like ebay.
I also checked on the 2nd hand market, seems it's very expensive, almost over hundred(s) CAD. Any idea why?

Thanks!

They are only sold at the Spyderco Factory store or the Spyderco website. There are only a limited number of blades in each steel. The last few have sold out very quickly except the most recent with the online debacle we won’t mention.

There are one or two threads in the Spyderco forum about mules and reselling. It seems people are buying several, maybe keeping one, and reselling the rest with a big markup. It sucks but it happens.

Keep watch on this thread on Spyderco forums for future release info.... Next up is SRS-13 Mule!

Also they come up on the Blade Forums exchange from time to time, Usually better then eBay prices. Good luck

Also, in case you're still unsure, you absolutely can get a knife directly from the Spyderco Factory Outlet (accessible on the Spyderco website) shipped internationally. See this link:

In their defense, buying a Magacut Mule was like working a second job.

Supply and Demand dictate price.
Here on BF For Sale there are a ""few"" who will ship to Canada

That could be the reason why it's so pricy in 2nd hand market

!! thank you! I have no idea how I remembered from Spyderco Website, the order can only be shipped inside US. I just checked the page you mentioned, shipping to Canada is supported.
Thank you!

I am keeping an eye on the Spyderco website of the new product Mule Team page everyday!

The problem with MT23P is that only about 500 were made compared to the 2,000 for MagnaCut. MT23P buyers can buy two per household just like MagnaCut so it’ll be even tougher to get. I think at only 500 made Spyderco should’ve limited these to just one per household so that more buyers can get one. Instead it’ll be another day for the flippers.

I just hope that the 17th isn't a debacle for those interested in buying it, as it was when the MagnaCut was released.

Don't think there will be the same demand for the MT32P as there was for the MagnaCut wc is probably why they went back to 500 but I agree that w/only that many available the limit should be only 1.

Fortunately for me, I have no interest in the MT32P because I still don't understand what SRS13/SUS405 is (the name doesn't exactly roll off the tongue like "Magnacut" does), even after doing some research about it.

LOL! ;)

Spyderco did NOT go back to 500. As Kristi said on the Spyderco Forum: “Sales will be limited to two per household. *This Mule was planned prior to our efforts to increase quantities.”

Confused. Thought you said above that they went back to 500 for the MT32P

No matter.

FWIW, I think they should have limited MagnaCuts sales to just 1@ even though they made 2k of them and think that all future sales of Mules should be limited likewise to maximize the # of pioential buyers and to reduce the incentive 2 flip the 2nd one for profit -- at least on the 1st day on release.
