I was able to buy the latest mule. I did run into a flag that I was behind a VPN and payment was rejected. I had to disconnect from my VPN before payment was accepted. Seems strange since running a VPN is meant to be more secure.

Yes, this is something that you always have to do to use Spyderco's website to buy stuff and even to post to (but not browse) the forum there

It's not the only website that I use that requires this.
