2003 Wolverine Knife Show - Novi, Michigan

Brian,

Likewise!! I might even have a sheath for your SpyderHawk. :)

One last stupid knife show question: Will the vendors take credit/debit cards or is everything a cash transaction? I would much rather pay with a card and not have to take a lot of cash to the show, but I would assume that even if most vendors do take credit cards, not all will. What do most vendors accept?

Thanks,

Bucky

Bucky:
First, there are no stupid questions, keep any questions coming.
As for credit cards.....I see more and more tables accepting cc every year. But, as of last year I'd say it would be 50/50, the year before 40/60. So I'd think there would be a little more this year. I notice more custom makers having them as well. But, if you're looking to score a deal or barter, cash is king, dealers do pay a premium using credit cards.

Mike:
If you have a Spyderhawk, bring it to the show, if you don't mind. I'd like to see one.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of you.

Take care,
Tom

Bud Weston will NOT attend this year. He just emailed me to say that he has a large order of folders to finish and he won't be back on this side of the water until the Canadian Knifemakers Guild Show in Toronto in April.

cockroachfarm:
Thanks for the update. Although it is disapointing, I was hoping to walk away with one of Bud's folders this year.

ERIC!! Stop scaring away the makers from the shows.

Sheesh,
Tom

TMAC..

Geeez one minor incident with drugs and alcohol and I'm marked for life...:)

The question is...
Who's birthday is it next ??? LMAO....

ttyle

Eric...

TMAC,

That's a rog, I'll probably have at least a couple with me. I might have to bring a camera with me to turn the tables on Eric, 'specially if he's into substance abuse. ;)

BTTT, 5 more days!

Thanks Mike. I'm sure there will be some Kodak moments.

Tom

I'll be there all 3 days. Always a good show. (the best for a couple hundred miles around).
I live about 5 miles away. Any talk of meetimg up for breakfast. there is a Big Boy and a Bob Evans almost on the Expo property.

Mike

I hope you boys are promising me no snow for the weekend. Think about it, a Southern boy in snow could tie up traffic in Novi for days.

Mi.Mike:
Hope to see you one of those days. As for breakfast nothing has been arranged yet.

Terrill:
Best not to promise anything when it comes to Michigan weather, but, the forcast looks pretty good for no significant snow over the weekend. Maybe a slight dusting during the night. Although I can promise you single digit temperatures. Make sure you have a good battery and antifreeze.

Oh, Terrill, I'm sure you can take some incriminating pics of Eric when he's stumbling around in his drug/achohol induced stupor trying to pick a fight with Mr. Sastre. Bound to happen.

See ya,
Tom

I'm getting ready to head North and WE GET THE SNOW! I can tell now that if I get there, I will be late.

Eric:
LMAO..... Boy, you are funny..... Yes, I am chomping at the bit. I cashed in all my change for the year and I'm ready to go. Damn, IBS, toilet paper is getting a bit raw, why don't you bring down some of your cheap Canadian drugs.

Terrill:
Drive safe man....see you when you get there.

Tom
