Well it's all over. You guys & gals designed the Bowie, our four outstanding makers made it, we raffled it off, found a lucky a winner and now we will donate the proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Quite an accomplishment when you think about it.
Below are the totals and some interesting statistics from our spreadsheet documenting ALL sales and in & out of ALL funds.
About 90% of ALL revenue received came from or was associated with Blade Forum members.
About 66% of the expense went towards printing of tickets and flyers etc. The rest went for materials, shipping, postage and website fees.
Paypal fees ran about 2.8% of tickets sales.
14 members donated funds before we even decided to have a raffle.
32 members purchased $100 or more in tickets.
4 members purchased $500 or more in tickets.
We had ticket purchases from Alaska, Europe, Japan, China, Australia, Canada, Malasia, South America, Italy and Germany.
As we mentioned earlier, there will be an article about the Blade Forum Bowie written by Roger Pinnock and Stephen Foster in the July 08 addition of Blade Magazine.
