2007 SE FSH Mint New Busse Combat 2007 Special Edition

Picture shows some different coloring near the "2007 ..." mark. Is this only oil or smoothing/scratching? I'm interested only if it is mint. Thanks and Happy New Year!
 
The knife is dead mint.

The stuff you are seeing in the photo is grease/oil.

I always protect my double cut and satin knives like that.

Shall I box it up for you?
