Sure, I am all for that. I just wanted to make sure that people knew he had paid for his knife and we did not collect for something he had already provided. I will let Dave know about the situation as well.

If the box does not work out, let me know. I should be able to get one from Tomway. (The worldwide headquarters is just around the corner from me. :D).
 
Sean, is Holger's son's name.
(Just want to make sure that when it is sent out that it is sent in Sean's name.)

On the last sentence, would it be better since it is going to his son, "From Holger's BladeForum Family"
Just asking, I have box ready to be carried to Jeweler to be engraved.

"...from his BladeForums Family" sounds better, and has a more reverential tone, IMO. James, since you are doing the box and nameplate, an additional $20.00 contribution seems over and above...just sayin'.

I have received pp from one person and mo from another.

I think Jim is prepping the presentation box.

I am not sure what I am doing woth the pooled funds.
I have one recommendation to send it as a gift certificate.
 
First of all, I am NOT a Coop, but here is the box, ready to be sent to Ed.
BTW: My Fong does not go with it. I hope you guys are happy with it.
It does have a belt sheath inside box I am sending along with the box.

Dang, I gotta follow these things more closely. I've had $20. set aside since Oct. 15th, and I didn't realize how much progress was made on it. :o To be honest, I'm a little embarrassed at myself. Apologies to all...

Thanks Gus, I just wish I had the plate made 1/8'' wider, the WH emblem hole is barely covered. In fact, you can see it when looking at the edge.:grumpy:
 
That box looks great Jim. I'm sure the Enge family will appreciate the sentiment and thoughtfulness.
 
I have not heard anything new on the knives. I will try to call Dave again this week.
