Sorry about the late payment as I've been out of town since Memorial Day.
PayPal Payment sent last night. I forgot the additional PayPal fees so I just sent that payment this morning. Let me know if you come up short or if there is a problem.

I am still here in Iraq, 7 months down, 8 to go! anyway, my internet is sporadic and its slow. I got the mass email on the stockman. I still want it. Can someone email me at northsidefx @hotmail.com and email me the paypal person? I tried to email Ed T but it got kicked back for whatever reason.

I just e-mailed you the correct e-mail address for Ed. It worked just fine for me last night.

Important update:

We have 29 paid orders at this time.
Our minimum is 50.

I know that there are at least 3 more in transit (perhaps more).
I am inclined to place the order, pay the down, and continue to sell the available knives until we reach 50.

However, being new to this, I am going to ask for input from forum knife veterans.

feel free to post in the open or pm.

I will have to decide tomorrow morning as I had promised to place the order with Dave at Northwoods tomorrow.

Sorry for the lateness. I just haven't made it to the PO for my MO. Since you are now accepting Paypal, I just sent my money plus fees. Please let me know if you didn't get it or if anything else is needed.

If you pay the down for 50 knives and the orders don't add up to 50, this is going to leave you holding the baby. Worst case, you would be saddled with 18 knives and that would amount to quite a bit. I don't think any one here would like to see you in such a position.

Any chance that you can get Northwoods to hold their quote for 1 more month for you to extend the deadline?

I am in the metal business, our steel cost went up 15% the first of June, and on the 15 of June we had another 15% added, I seriously doubt Northwoods would hold their quote. I know I don't hold them, just can not afford the risk. I think that the knives could be sold, I might take a couple more if Ed was stuck with them, for gifts, perhaps a few more members might do the same to help out.

I would not take any steps that can not be reversed until you have the payments in hand.
If we have to wait and the price goes up so be it. You are going to be doing enough work to get these and none of us wants to see you take a $ hit also.
