2008 NGK Roadtrip/Meet

I'm free and the trip is on. we are set for tuesday 3/25 at around 12:30 or so (allowing for traffic and getting really lost). its bladeforums day at NGK. no that doesn't mean specials or anything, but i may have gotten annie to dig out some rarities from the back and there will be lunch. and its my birthday, so maybe we can get something out of that :)

I'm definitely jealous, I wish I could make the trip.

There is definitely something to be said for going to look at knives with a bunch of people that won't be rolling their eyes at you the whole time.

at the moment i can't think of a better way to spend a birthday :)
 
I would love to come, except i have a sociology exam at 12:45:mad:. To those of you that are going, have fun and get some stuff!:thumbup:

shhhh wait til tuesday...thats the beauty of this. oh and i have an iphone, so with a little luck and some wifi i might be able to post pics from NGK while on the trip
 
Well folks I am sad to report that I'm gonna have to drop out of the trip. My boss informed me that I have to attend a "function". The worst part is that I'm probably the closest one of you all to NGK and I can't even break away to go......argh!

I guess I'll have to go by myself here in a few weeks and console myself by taking a few new Kershaws home with me.

hey guys, got back safe 11.7 hours total drive. i took some pics of the shelves and some of boring stuff during the drive. i took in a decent haul, with some pre-orders added just now. as soon as i have slept for the better part of a day, ill be sure to post pics. and thanks for all the birthday wishes. btw, to all those who said they were coming: PM me...there is something we need to discuss (don't worry its something good)

now.....to the realm of the unconscious
 
just an update, i am up but i am in need of a trip to the hardware store for some bigger handled torx drivers and maybe some new screws....sorry for the mystery, but ill post pics once im completely satisfied with my purchases....thomas i sent you a few emails this morning regarding all this. ill keep everyone posted.
