so just to recap i got myself a zt301, a zt0200, and a small ener-g. i got my mother the shun and a friend the ti-zdp. no im not that good a friend, they both paid me for them.

you will notice no clips being shown...thats kinda cause i tried to change them all to tip up this morning without being fully awake and i kinda stripped both screws on the 200 and on the ener-g, thomas is already rectifying that situation. bottom line it is not a good idea to attempt knife repair with substandard tools and a below normal operating capacity (i.e. before massive coffee infusion).

(i.e. before massive coffee infusion).

Nice haul there Slade.

Amen to the coffee infusion. Even with a good nights sleep, I can't
function untill I've had about 3-4 cups in me. ;)

Oh, and a late Happy Birthday to ya. 2 more days I hit 39..

Very nice haul! NGK is a great place, with excellent people there! And the food is great, too!

Enjoy your new toys!

they seem to be very friendly and it was very nice indeed to talk with people face to face who knew about knives and were also interested in them. im not saying i wont do it again, but if we are to do some sort of bladeforums gathering we should try for a slightly more local place.

once i get my clip situation sorted and find some bison i need to kill with only a knife, cut, clean, dress and serve them ill be sure to review my ZTs.....seriously i knew they were tanks before i bought them but damn, if they aren't fine works. i carried the 302 today and it disappeared from my pants. i mean i thought i was carrying a blur until i tried fishing my keys out of the same pocket.

heheheh

Slade GT40, PM sent, let me know if you don't get it. Also, did you try a cheeseburger? Very nice stuff.
