Thank You very much Ed for gracious offer. That is a great looking knife, I will give her a good home. Please tell me any & all particulars about this knife (year, length, scales, etc)

Thank You again,

Dave

Dave,
I don't have too many details. I had started to collect the cartridge knives a couple of years ago. The ones I started with had a CCC stamp. It wasn't until this one arrived that I realized it was from an earlier series ans stamped c-4 instead of ccc4.

I found this, but do not know more:
Camillus made a series in the late 1980s and early 1990s they called the "cartridge series," jumping off from their successful "classic cartridge series." The "cartridge series" knives sported a cartridge in the delrin handles and were identified as C1 through C6. This one is the C4 model called "camp/utility" and is 3 5/8 inches long when closed. It has a 1 3/4 inch coping, 1 1/2 inch spear, a wood saw, cap lifter, and screwdrivers. It was made in the USA of 440 stainless.

Yep, I'll get in on this. Sorry I missed the thread for so long, hope it isn't a problem getting in on it.

Congrats knowtracks! The better man won!:D:D

Hello Ed T,

I voted in the maybe/price column and email is sent, however I am very much leaning towards this pattern, scales and steel.. But, please if I may suggest, stay away from those confounded scrolled bolsters. I would much rather see a nice classy bf-traditional etch instead.

Your great effort plunging into this project is much appreciated here.

Best,
Anthony

I voted maybe as I have no idea what the price will be or who the mfg will be.

It appears to me that Northwoods is like Moore Maker in that they don't make their knives totally in-house but they sure are beautiful. I wouldn't mind seeing a CSC knife.

Sunnyd,

I did get your email. I am hoping to recieve the quotes this week.

Thanks for the support and encouragement all. It seems to be going smooth so far.
