2009 BladeForums Traditional Forum Knife updates

Since I'm 62 yrs old the days just fly by. Shoot they are going so fast I didn't even know there was a delay. It takes me a couple of days just to get out of my chair so I understand Gus. Get better go slow. Everything is OK.

Only a couple of days to get out of your chair? Bloody speed freak. I like to plan it for a week before I even think about actually doing it.

Somewhat more seriously, take as long as you need Gus, your health is more important than a box of bloody knives.
 
Gus, heal first. That's an order. ;)

I'd rather wait another year than have you hurt yourself trying to do too much too soon.
 
Heal up my friend, it will happen and when it gets here it will be like finding a long lost knife from one of Jackknifes tales.
 
Dang it!! I knew the chair comment would get me in trouble. I just looked at my watch and it's 5 mins to 4 pm. I'm going to bed at 10 so I'd better start getting up now. oh boy--:eek: here goes.:eek: I could use a little help here.

It is a matter of when I am physically able to do so and I am still having a very hard time getting around. When that changes I will update.:rolleyes:

I apologize to all for the delay, but this has been a much bigger thing to recover from than I thought. I am stuck with trying to learn how to walk again and balance is a huge hurdle to get over. Just taking care of normal day to day things is a huge challenge.

All I can do at this point is offer full refunds to anyone who wants one and I will be glad to do so.

I am not sure how to exactly predict when, but I am hoping to start shipping in three weeks, but I am unable to make that a promise. It is just a guess.

I feel I will get more "satisfaction" from an ambulatory Gus than I will from the early delivery of a slipjoint.

I can wait.:D

Personally I think he should amble over here to Oz where I can get some real beer into him. That'll fix his leg in no time.
 
Gents,

If decent cold Beer and fine Ladies is the prescription for our good buddy Gus, then all we need do is send him on a one hour flight down south to my neck of the woods here on the southeast coast of the Redneck Riviera, not half way around the world down under.. :D

True nuff, especially now with spring break! Ah, Fort liquor-dale in the spring, I can see him strutting himself silly, on second thought he would just hurt himself again!

A good thought! That, plus some fine pub food and some time contemplating the real "wide open spaces" will fix him up right!:thumbup:
 
You guys are going to get the goats really Pissed Luckly I am willing to step in for Guss and head down there and drink beer and chase the ladies for him. Gus the best thing about getting this knife is knowing that your getting better. I hope it is real soon. I'll make sure the Oz beer and Gold Coast ladies know it's all for you and not me. :)
 
Well you guys got me laughing and it has been a while. Problem is there is no hobble. I am back on da crutches.

Good thing about that, is if I make it to Blade, I will be the one in size 32 jeans and they are loose. My gut has not been this small in 30 years. My torso looks like a "V" instead of a "U". Crutches on one good foot are the way to go if ya got a stomach to get rid of. :D
