2009 Fishing Season PIC Thread

No dead fish pics, all the stripers were released...
Montuak LI, had a place right on the beach.
It started out nice.

Note the guy on the left is leading a fish onto the beach.
Right after I took this photo I jumped into my waders and got out there with them.
As the week progressed the weather got better... most would say worse ;)

Spent most of 4 days waist deep in the Atlantic ocean.
The rest of the time was in the "ready" position

Here are a few from yesterday. I just needed some relaxation time, so I went to a local Res. that's about 3 minutes from my house. This place is known for holding some monster Bluegills (Probably a few 12" swimming around in there). Working on my fly rod cast still, so it's fun to go catch 'Gills while I practice. I've caught some Bass outta here as well but didn't get any yesterday. I'm going back tomorrow so I might get into some then, we'll see.

Thank you! :thumbup: Bluegills are great, one of my favorite as well.
 
Our native southern appalachian strain brookies don't run big, but they are pretty.
