2009 Knife Calendar

I'll take at least a couple--more if I'm in it just like everybody else.
 
Ok here is the updated list of makers that have sumited pictures. its getting long, but it can get longer :D. i have to photoshop every photo so im glad i started now :D

You redy for a little taste of what i have been working on at nights. keep in mind that this is just a tester. i just used the pictures i had gotten done so far. Man what did i get myself into ;). under the makers name i want to put there blade forums name and maybe a line about the knife.

Maybe I missed it but.....Is there a deadline on sending in the pics?
I may have a couple more but need time to practice shooting the damn things. Just when I was getting used to 35mm, now I have to learn about digital & uploading...sheeesh! :eek::grumpy: :D

Please do me a favor, and if you print my photos and put the maker's names there as well, that my name is spelled Karl B. Anders"E"n not s"O"n.
As is Andersen Forge.
I know this is a technicality at this point, but since you still have time before printing, it won't hurt to have all of the correct info.
You're doing a wonderful thing here.

I want one too! Haven't decided whether I want to include a photo, is there a deadline? I don't mean to push you to the wall, I know how much effort this is taking you. You're doing a great thing that we all appreciate. Thanks!

Ok Ok, back to the top. im thinking of closing the excepting pictures phase soon. but there is atill more room so if any one and i mean any one wants to be considered for this please send me pictures. just email me them. i have gotten some very nice ones that are to small so i will be emailing thoes people and seeing if thay have biger ones. if i end up not haveing enought pictures later on then i will open int back up. but send me more :D

Dan, I think you can pick out which picture(s) you want to send in and go ahead and email 'em to JT. That way he's got it on hand. I sent mine in JPG and larger is better.

yes dan your on the list. do you have a biger file format of that picture , if you do can you send it to my email.
 
Man things can get confusing when your sealing with lots of people sending you stuff. so here is the updated list. In the first spot we have the makers name as thay want it to apear under there picture, if its wrong and you want it changed post the change here. next we have a shot that says eather YES, yes, no or na. that thay mean is this.
YES = All the pictures the maker sent are a good size
yes = at least one picture thay sent is a good size
no = none of the pictures are a good size
na= that maker has not sent me pictures yet

now you will notice that after that there is a number, that number is how many pictures the maker sent me. now if you have a "no" atatched to your name all that means is that the pictures are to small to look nice and crisp when printed.

If you have biger ones PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me them, it seames that the cut off size is 1600 pix wide. anything below that rez will look way small on the calendar. If thats all you have then I might beable to make them work but there not going to be very good. just to give you an idea what kind of size the calendar pages need to be saved to here is the numbers. page rez is 3500 x 2300 @ 200 PIX per inch which = 17.5" x 11.5" . some of these 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 photos i have got are saved at 72 pix per inch. now if i convert the 800x600 photo to 200 pix per inch the new size becomes 288x216 if i want to keep the same quality. so thats like sticking a 2" x 2" picture on a 17.5 x 11.6 background, and when all the other knives are much much biger its not going to look very good. I might just make a month that just has a ton of small pictures.
