Oh so you designed it to be used in the sheath. For some reason I always had it in my head that it was just a holder and you had to pull it out to use it. I might have to pick one of these up. I gotta get a hold of my buddy though, he's probably gonna want one to.

At one point, you were going to pick up a RAT Izula and start doing sheaths.

just sent pp for 2 in red.
the alternate idea with the open bottom and button cover sounds good for storage loose in a bag
ill take the proto in red if possible and one with the ball chain in red as well

I haven't picked one up yet. I know I need to at some point as I'm constantly being asked. You could try Marion or hoopster for the time being, otherwise I'll try to think to pick one up soon.
 
OK, got sidetracked for a couple days, pics of the other stuff later Tonight probably. Also, I'll deal with emails in a bit.

(Edit: I'm having camera issues, be patient.)
(Edit 2: OK, appears I have a wire or 2 pulled out on the battery compartment. I just need to solder them back on and hopefully that'll fix it.)
(Edit 3: Camera's fixed (freakin' piece of crap) and duct taped back together. I'll get pics in the Morrow. The sheaths that have been paid for already, I should get to by the end of the week.)

No worries Rick, I would've recommended Eric myself if I would've thought of it when I posted.
 
I don't know how many of you carry this tiny little rifle, but I love mine. Anyway, thinking about making a pack holster and butt mounted cartridge carrier for mine when I get the time. Just curious if anyone else would be interested and what you'd want when I sat down to design it.

They're mostly made for kids, but a lot of people like them for a pack gun because they're so small and light. Plus they run around $100. They come in black, orange, tan, pink, laminates, wood, stainless versions, .22 mag versions, extended stock versions, etc. Neat little rifles.

So, I spent my day in the woods taking down some trees with the ole Fiskars 14" and dragging them out to be bucked (I seriously need a mule. I've tried getting the cats to haul 'em but that doesn't go over well.) During a rest I got to looking at my Model 6 and thought "Hey, an Opinel keyring sheath would be pretty neat."

So, if anyone's interested, let me get a consensus on which models I need to pick up to suit the masses. Thinking keyrings, neckers, maybe a combo Opi/Firesteel necker.

To the rest of you hippies, I'll be getting to the paid orders by the end of the week. :thumbup: Camera's been a pain in the backside, but it's fixed now. Had a looooong couple days and didn't get to take pics while I still had light though. Got no plans for Tomorrow (other than plastic bending and a couple trees to knock down), so I'll get them while I have light.

On a side note, I had a thought for a combo Bic/FS rod carrier. Redundancy and all. Anybody be interested enough for me to try it out?
 
Alrighty, had to let my batteries charge, so didn't get sunlight to snap pics in, but here's some bad ones anyway. These are full size bics, the minis will be appropriately minier.

Sheath attachment. Holes set at 1/2" centers. Light friction fit for upright attachment with easy draw and any position insertion. Can also be made with a locking retention to be carried inverted on the face of the sheath. Just let me know exactly how you wanna attach and carry, and adjustments can be made accordingly.

Obviously certain aspects can be incorporated into whatever. You want something specific, let me know.

I think I'm fine with the lighter free floating on a keychain with a firesteel...but it sounds like it wouldn't be a bad option to offer with your sheaths.
