I voted for the Canal Street, just seems a whole lot more unusual and I really like the pattern. I'm most likely in for one regardless though.

I guess I missed were it was decided on no etch at all, kind of takes away from the forum knife concept I think. Alot of knives have the year of manufacture on them, the forum mark sets it apart as a special knife. I was certainly hoping for a smaller more classy looking etch than we've had, but no marking at all seems a little extreme.

The year of manufacture, and "BLADEFORUMS", will be on the tang stamp, so the knife will be permanently identifiable as the 2010 knife!
I like nice etches also, but democracy has its foibles!

Syn,

The Canal Street, rather than the tang stamp, would have "Bladeforums 2010" stamped (or in raised letters) on the bar shield.

Eric

Heh, ok, my bad.

Like I said, I was kind of thinking I just missed it, but finding and going all through all those threads again wasn't gonna happen. The stamped tang I remember being brought up just didn't remember a definite answer to it.
And like I said I'm pretty much in for 1 of whichever. (Still prefer the Canal St by quite a bit, heh :D )

Thanks guys
Syn

I always buy two, and someone always wants the other one!!

Looks like the Moose wins by a long hairy nose ;-)

and thanks

Nice smooth transition for Bladeforums. New server with hardly a blip!!
I was a little worried we might have to do it over again - I must have more faith in things going smoothly!!!
Yes indeed, our knife is determined!
We will now proceed to ordering the Tang Stamp, and to setting up the payment system. We will have separate systems for those outside the contiguous USA, because of the shipping cost differences.
I am real busy getting ready for Oregon, but I think we'll be up and running by early next week!
Thank you all for your amazingly enthusiastic participation! This is going to be a great Traditional Forum Knife!!

Charlie, Thanks to you and the rest of the folks working on this forum knife. I can't wait to get the Moose in my pocket ;-)) Good luck at the show, your Empire display is amazing.

Best regards

Robin

Thank You Charlie!
