What are the blade lengths? I want to order one but I need to make sure I'll be in compliance with my local laws if I carry it. Thanks!

Queen's Ebony Swell Center "Moose" 3 7/8" OA (from charlies original post)
I cant find an exact, but around 2.5-2.75" each would be an estimate based on a similiar sized knife.

PS i just measured my case sowbelly and it comes in close to 3 7/8" and has a 2.5" main
 
Not to stir up the hornets nest again, but I was also curious about what caused the shield change on the knife. I had waited figuring that eventually someone would answer the question raised. Oh, and also do we know if it is a pinned shield or glued (I'd honestly prefer glued on that)

Glad you are in Mack! I had a fun time getting enough fun money for this. Bills and kids tuition have to come first, and we were coming up a little short. So, I sold our old pool fence that was rotting on the back deck for an easy Craigslist $100.00 I told the wifey, "There, now I can buy my knife guilt free!" She said, "Guilt free huh? We need groceries!" I said, "Doh!" yeah, just like Homer. I knew I was not in guilt free territory. I waited til the end of May, and sure enough, a check from a long forgotten class action lawsuit against Home Depot landed for $175. I had worked for HD for the time allotted and all I had to do was participate to recieve this. I now have purchased my guilt free forum knife!!!! I can only hope to win the give away from Mr. Way North! Unless you win it of course!

I really can't recall when, I don't even remember a definite shape being decided. I do recall a thread where there were a number of options and images discussed, but I'll be darned if I can find it. Personally I do like the bar shield on this one, it doesn't crowd out that nice ebony like a larger shield might.

Thanks Eric, was just curious myself, and I do like the bar, either would have been fine with me :)
