I have to procure funds for this. I definitely want in, but only if I have fun money to budget, or sell something else off quickly. I need to know the drop dead pay date. I will be in for one, even if I have to eat beans and rice for a month or two.

WooHoo!
I have sent my money and am on the list!

Love the forum knife process. Well done and I look forward to seeing this one.

Next year, I want a......<insert maniacal laugh>

If you are not in the Continental U.S.A, we'll have a place for you to determine costs, and send your payment this weekend, so be patient.

Sorry, I'm a little unclear here. Should I wait for another order thread for NON CONUS or should I pay for the knife now and the shipping costs will be sorted out later?

I was thinking the shield was going to be oval on these 2010s. The sample shown has a bar shield.

I have two questions :

#1 Does this knife have one,or two backsprings ?
#2 Can you place an order, even though you put little or no input into the choices ?

TIA,
-Vince

And Glocketenman (but I thought it was a thin bar shield)

My question is whether all of the Ebony will be solid black?

(1) 2 Back-springs.
(2) Charlie answered this in the affirmative in another thread as long as you meet the deadline with your funds.

Thanks for the pics brother Anthony. I like it. This may be the one BF knife I can't pass up

Its a real nice knife, Mike. Its an exact replica of a 1902 Schatt & Morgan Swell-Center Moose pattern. Back then the original bore the Gowanda tang stamp. I had one some years back and it was a nice stout slippy with a ferocious snap with loud echoes you could hear down the street.

There will be another thread for NON CONUS! Soon.

Hal, it's hard to guarantee solid black with the ebony. In angled light, the sample knife has dark brown streaks in it. All knives are sent out randomly, but if I get a very black one and you don't, I'll trade you!!:D
It will NOT look like plastic!:D
The bar shield is the likely shield, although we are looking for something equally traditional in the archives.
Anyone on BF can order, Vince, whether you gave input or not.

Thanks for the help on the knife description, Anthony!
Everyone, please don't be insulted by the large red type below, but so no-one misses it, the steel will be;
1095!
Maybe we should have a patina contest, when the dust settles!!??:D

Are you going to use your 2010 forum knife??
