Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Mike & Eric.

its my early birthday prezzy-so won't be allowed to play until October.
the boss will see to that. many Thanks to all involved.

I have a question about the PayPal option. Do I send just the $87? Or do I need to add 3%? Can I categorize the money as a gift?

Hey Charlie,

I just ordered 6, count 'em six, knives! Paid for 'em by PayPal too!
See you in Atlanta!

BYW I just paid to up grade my status to Platinum. Don't know how long it will take till I can change my Avatar.

Airyq, drop me a message, those shipping arrangements should be no problem. (I think we've done this before;):D)

You do not need to add 3%. I've already done that, kamagong. Please call it "goods". We don't want to run afoul on this project.
Thanks

Six knives!! And I made a promise to match the biggest order!
Dondon, you are making it hard for me!!
But, thanks for the big order (I think!)

I'm definately up for one of these, just waiting for the shipping cost...

Out of interest does anybody know the blade length of these? We've a silly 3" carry law over here.

Thanks

Eric & Charlie,

Can we lean on Queen regarding quality control so we don't have issues with blade wobble and backspring gaps?

I've sent my sample to Queen, so I can't measure the blade. I'll see if I can find out for you, but it'll be close!!

Don, any issues with a knife are guaranteed by Queen.
FYI, I have told them more than once they are dealing with the most discerning and sophisticated knife users and collectors on the planet!:D

If the pattern matches the Queen made Winchester (of the late 80's) which is also 3 7/8" closed, neither of the two blades will be 3".
The clip (the longer of the two blades) is about 2 7/8" from tip to bolster (which includes the tang).

I hope to order 2 by week end but one will be had for sure. I just have to button up a couple other transactions. I think it's an outstanding looking knife with a style & design I enjoy very much!!!;) Well done to those who put this together!!!

That sounds pretty accurate. 3 7/8" is the size of the one Billy Cochrane had made for his stamp.

Thanks Elliott, i really appreciate your efforts there. Phew! That knife looks way too nice to leave at home. Roll on the international sales thread...

Quite welcome, Neil. Glad to help.

Borrowing a chapter from the esteemed book of Case, I thought, since it's the start of a new decade, ten dots would let us use this stamp for ten years!
We just grind off a dot each year like Case did from 1970 to 1979, and no cost to us!
This stamp can be used by GEC as well. I haven't checked with Canal Street yet.
My feeling is, it solidifies our tradition. I certainly plan on getting one from each year!
God willing:)!
