Will we ever really know the

"MEANING of KNIFE"???

Back to the subject at hand, the orders are flowing in. At this rate we will easily reach our goal of 100 plus knives.
I never did get to my 6000 post giveaway, so if you buy a forum knife, you are automatically entered into my 6000 post G-A!!!!!
Only for you folks!! And it's gonna be a nice knife!!
So if you are on the fence about the forum knife, jump on in!! It just might be you!!

Today received payment for the 50th knife.

I'm ready to order/pay; what's the final price with shipping to Canada? Where to send my money order? Thanks A LOT for doing this; awesome knife

Oh...a question. What hardness are we aiming? Do we have a say in this area? Thanks again!

Just sent the Palpay for mine. Gonna be a long summer and hopefully I'll forget about it after a few weeks and have a nice surprise when it shows up.

Try the NON-CONUS sticky at the top of the page for Canadian orders.
Quebec!!! Rack up another province!! Hope we get at least one knife in each!!
I'll get back to you on the hardness!!

Can we request Queen to put good, sharp edges on these knives? As much as I like Queen's quality I abhor the dull, butter knife edges they usually apply.

My experience with Queen is that they put wonderful edges on their 1095 steel blades. It's the D2 blades that come without edges.

Fit and finish are more important than a keen edge, that can be done at home. I do not sweat factory dull edges, I would prefer they take the time on the non fixable stuff.

Thanks alot Waynorth for great work, my payment will be send June 1st, when my paycheck arrives. I am just worried this knife might bump out my Spyderco Urban from my EDC... :D

Looks like there will be at least two Forum Knives coming to Finland then:thumbup:

Just ordered mine, not a moment too soon the way the Euro is going down against the Dollar:eek:

Looking forward to the knife as I don't have this pattern. Warmest greetings to Charlie, Eric and Mike for their efforts.

With Queen being the maker and Charlie at the helm I have high hopes for this knife. At this very moment I'm looking at a previous Queen/waynorth collaboration, a goldenroot bone harness jack. The HJ is an absolute stunner with top notch fit and finish, gorgeous scales, and a pinned shield. If this HJ is any indication of what happens when you combine the creative energies of Queen with the discriminating standards of Charlie, then the 2010 knife will be quite the gem.

Thanks for all the work you put into this Mike, Eric, and Charlie.

Well, after 7-pages of discussion of the 2010 knife, the fact remains that we voted for a knife with an oval shield. That's what we voted for and that's what we oughta get. I was told that there was a lot of discussion about it but I went back through the threads and couldn't find any such discussions until recently when someone ask that two different shields be photoshopped on a picture of a knife. I don't know who was involved with the shield change but it doesn't matter. It shouldn't have been changed.

I'll pass on the 2010 Knife. Maybe next year we will be able to get what we vote for.

Instead of pissing and moaning why don't you send a PM or email to the relevant parties to ask a question and make further inquiries rather than act like someone urinated in your Wheaties? These forums have been around for over ten years based upon the goodwill and cooperation of the members. Perhaps if you stick around a little longer you'll learn to appreciate that.

Elliott,
That was really funny. Very very well put. I'm still laughing from it.

Thanks, Jay. I'll be here all week. (rim-shot!) :p

(Guess that's why I get the big bucks as a super moderator. ;))
