I really like the advertising picture, except maybe they should smear a little dirt on their faces!
I mean - - the great outdoors, purty girls and buckets of beer??? - - - - C'mon!

True, but the advert picture only shows the BEGINNING of the session. Might be interesting to have a shot of two hours later:D:thumbup: Or the day after!

That's a grand picture Robert B. Got any dates or info on it at all?

Regards, W

Problems arose once they brandished the new Bladeforums cap lifter.

Hunting and camping party of Custer (standing in center) and invited guests. Fort A. Lincoln on the Little Heart River, Dak. Terr., 1875...I could see our cap lifters coming in handy! :D

What's the story behind the name "Candle End Jack"? Is it because it has a rear bolster and is therefore "bright" like a candle?

The candle end refers to a candle flame, which is pointy. I know - it's a stretch!

Speaking of stretch . . . err, stretched - can I have your cap lifter, now that you are done with it?:D

Chris, good thinking, in fact if there is any problems at all with addresses, I feel I should put my hand up and take the huge responsibility by accepting the knives that have been put aside, I know that this is a sacrifice, but I am willing to do this for the team, anything to help mate.

Now that everyone is looking at these great photos, there may be one or two of you guys that bought a knife, and have moved. Please send me your current address so I can get it to Andy prior to shipping. Jbrew, I got you updated. Thank you. Please do not send unless you have moved since May/June for that is when the list finalized. If you have any concerns, send them to me. I am happy to help.

Absolutely amazing!!! I really appreciate GEC making this such a personal process for us all and giving us a view we would not have otherwise seen. They look amazing.

Man that is a fun trip through the pictures! And that row of finished knives looks just beauteous!!

Thanks to the fine folks at GEC, and Campbell, Andy, Chris and Gene for a fine job all the way!!

I concur. I have thanked the folks here, but much thanks to GEC, too. This will be my first (two) GEC knives. Gawd, but they look pretty! And the tube looks great. So excited.

There are so many significant hands-on stages in that process. :)

I am glad to see that! It really adds to my appreciation of the knives.

Thanks for the pictures!

Unbelievable, just friggin' gorgeous, in my eyes, now I can't wait. Great job, thanks to everyone involved.
