"2011 Blade Show Knives" (Traditional Knives Only)

Very nice. Vince, is that a full size HTT, or has it been scaled down a bit?

Wayne,I do believe that's the full size knife.
Rick could tell you exact but I think over 5" closed!
I'm hoping for some more pics of it,witch I'll gladly add to Rick's thread here

That's what I hoped for ;)

Very nice, Rick. A worthy effort on a classic pattern.

The knife is 9 3/4 long opened up. I spent 9 hours over 3 days hand finishing it. My own dyed and jigged bone a black baldy dontated to me several winters ago.

A truly excellent knife, Rick, I really like the jigging, pulls, and swedges -- they give it a great deal of character.

That looks super Rick. I may have to get you to make me a scaled-down version of it sometime.

That mammoth ivory is beautiful!

What are the sizes on those? The top one looks bigger.

Not sure Rob. If I had to guess ,I'd say the bigger one 3.5 & the smaller,3.25
They are really good looking !

These are some fine examples to get a peek at.
Get's my blood pressure up and counting down to Blade 2011.
I have an order of Bill's cases in transit that are going to need contents soon!
Them makers in OK better dig a hole and bury those nice knives until Blade by the looks of the weather around there right now.

Better put the Blade show knives in a bucket and bury em until it time to head to Atlanta...

Brett, that mammoth is almost inconceivably gorgeous!

I know a lot of people really like the blue-green tinged mammoth ivory, but the color and figure on your two are absolutely the best, fantastic job.

See you in Atlanta!
