2012 BFC Traditional Forum Tube Art Sighted in Ohio!

Gene,
the label is awesome and I love the green. Campbell is right, GEC will have to do a great job to match the labels in style :)

Gene, another home run. It looks great. The green really does
set it off. Thanks for all you've done to make it happen.

Its what I thought almost word for word.

well some of my line work was a bit too delicate and a bit lost in their digital print, if its a problem i'll see what i can do.

Thank you for your efforts, Gene. I like the color selection, and the big "2012 Blade Forums" script is very classy IMO.

Hi Gene,

I am certainly not one to say if its a problem or not. I think your artwork is amazing! The saber grind thing was the first thing I noticed though.

If it was my work I would make it reflect the full flat grind of the 2012 knives. If that is possible with the digital print process. I am correct in thinking that they are full flat grind? With that said, I want to say it again, your work is amazing and I could not do it.

Thank you for putting together such wonderful artwork. Your label alone makes me want to get one of these.

I really do not have the words to express how much I appreciate your work on these Gene. Thank you. Your efforts make a special knife even more special.

I don't have a problem with the art as long as I pull a full height grind knife out of the tube it is stuck to. :D

I totally understand the loss of definition that can occur in the digital transition, so don't fret on my account. It looks great to me.

im working on fixing this as i have a tiny bit of breathing room with GEC, see what i can do as i have to work on this in my spare time

The depiction of the blade grind doesn't bother me at all, aslong as it's not on the knife itself. Nice work!

Either way, the label looks awesome, and will look great standing next to the tube from last year, on my dresser.

I think it's amusing that the artwork has a saber grind but the knife is going to have flat ground blades. Mistake or not things like that are fun to notice. It might make someone scratch their head 40 years from now.

glad somebody's amused by it, but seeing that it's my swan song... i'm just hoping to get out of it in one piece:cool:
Handing the torch off for the '13
