I just voted Congress Jack, I would like it closer to 4" personally, I like pinched and grooved bolsters and hopefully a shield with angles to it. I'm not a pen blade fan, but most wouldn't care for a clip/spey secondary I'm sure so would be good with what is shown, the pointier the better. The Sowbelly in current form (spey/strong clip- not turkish) gets my solid second place. I really like the looks of that knife, but have more use for the thin profile of the CJ. It looks to be long enough for food prep- cutting oranges/mangoes/meat... while staying thin in my scrubs, where the sowbelly looks like it will take up more pocket space, a concern for my daily carry.
I would like a punch stockman but it is too similar to past offerings, and am not much of a trapper fan as I find I have a few in single blade that I use, and don't tend to use the multiblade ones because the blades are the same length, I find that to be too redundant for my uses. I too would like to see a top two head to head poll, that way the majority can be heard on the final pattern choice.

As would I. I think a final head to head poll between the two most popular patterns would be an excellent idea.

I agree that a "head to head" poll would be a good idea. I know time is very short though, so maybe the final pattern thread could be paired with a "detail pattern thread" that would be necessary anyway, to define number and type of blades. Just an idea.
Of course, this is up to the committee, and I know they already have their hands full and no time.
I wasn't here when the previous BF knives were decided but it's awesome to see how much people care about it...just like it's supposed to be

I don't want to make things confusing but perhaps we have a head to head poll and at the same time, 2 polls for what the configuration should be depending on which wins the first poll? Example would be using the current front runners a poll of WT vs CJ, a poll on configuration of a WT, a poll on configuration of a CJ. Depending on who wins between WT and CJ, we use the configuration from the other poll. Hope that makes sense

your idea is way better than mine. Less confusion. And, when one of us enters BF, voting on one poll or on two polls won't harm. Of course, these are just suggestions, the committee will let us know.
