I would like to add that I have upgraded to gold membership but for some reason it is not showing up on my profile.
 
Just paid, can't wait to get it. Although its probably good that its gona take a few months to get here. Just purchased a paramilitary yesterday and promissed the wife no more knives for a while. She doesn't need to know these things. Just hope she doesn't study the bank statement.:D

I'm glad my wife doesn't believe me when I say I'm not buying another knife for a while.....:D I told her that last week after I got my 561.

Question: Is there any reason WHY this beautiful knife couldn't have been ordered in PURPLE? Just thought I'd ask. :D

As far as I can tell, there is no purple G-10 commercially available. Besides that, it would've been a hard sell. I'd love purple, but I think I (and you and Seanifred) are in the minority. And finally, blue is also sort of the unofficial Bladeforums color so ultimately that gained it a big boost of support.

I wasn't serious... It is pretty much standard for me to request that the handle be PURPLE!!! Thank you for the info on the G-10, however. That is good to know. There are other BF members who wouldn't mind purple....but not many. Where is their fashion sense?
