Does anyone know or is able to guess whether the scales on the FFG skyline will be interchangeable with other skylines? For example, could I put the brown skyline scales on this FFG s30v knife? I wasn't sure if they'd have to modify anything if the studs had to move given that the studs act as the blade stop.

I'm guessing full interchangeability with other skylines. Any changes cost money and were probably kept to a minimum (e.g. no modified deep carry pocket clip). Other than the color of the scales the big differences are the grind and the metal.

Thanks. I find it hard to think they'd make any major changes or changes that would affect the scales but you know what they say when you assume.

Are these already made? If not, you should have a cutoff date and make it limited to how many we're already sold by that date. All 500 might not even sell... I'm just saying

Oh yea, they'll sell. I'm going to be picking up a 3rd one as a gift to a good friend and coworker. I've given him a Blur OD green, a Kershaw Select Fire, and now he is going to have a S30V Skyline.
