Not really. Steel liners. Scales wouldn't need to be much thicker than 1/8".

I realize business often charge a handling and shipping fee, although some don't charge any shipping fees. Perhaps Spark is paying someone to do the bagging.

I'm pretty sure that since it's a Skyline, it will have Skyline dimensions. It seems most everyone who ordered are fine with what's considered a great EDC blade length.
