Here's mine - arrived today. I measure it 3 7/8" closed. Clip blade has a pull of 6 1/2 on a scale of 1 to 10 while the Wharncliffe blade has a pull of 5 on the same scale. Overall a nice, tight, knife. The covers could be a bit darker but that's just my .02¢ .

I was really hoping someone would make this one specific thread. Very nice knife, Ed. Your photos show it off well. Looking forward to seeing the photos pile up in this one.

Can't wait til mine arrives. I remember on GEC's website the shades of bone varied a good bit. Looks like you got one of the lighter ones ED. Still, looks great!

Can't believe it took this long. :)
Looking good Ed, can't wait to see mine, hopefully I get it tomorrow so I can try to take pictures this weekend.

The pull on mine seems about the same on both blades, about a 5. Based on my previous experience with GECs, was worried it might be too hard to open, but both blades are perfect in my opinion. The springs sit slightly proud on both blades in the halfstop position but both are perfectly flush when fully open and fully closed. No blade rub, reasonably sharp, well finished, liked it so much I bought a second one today. Great design, great execution, a lot of knife for the money, thanks to all who made it happen.

I've already posted these in the "ARRIVED" thread, but I 'll post them here as place holders 'til I take some more tomorrow.

Great photos guys!
Mine arrived today and went straight in my uniform pants pocket for Scouts this evening, just got back from our meeting. Too dark to get a halfway decent pic, I really need to get a bunch taken of arrivals for the last couple months.

I think GEC knocked it out of the park, this is a heavy duty trapper. I had to tighten my belt a notch after putting it in my pocket :D

Great photos everybody! I can't wait for mine to show up. When it does, I'll be sure to snap some shots for this thread. I'm really hoping this one is a keeper for me!

Great pictures for sure! Now I'm really excited. I am going to carry last years forum knife until the new one arrives as a tribute of how great each year's knives really are!

Mine came in today - Thanks Spark!!

The knife is beautiful - just like Chief's pictures. Another wonderful traditional.

GEC has really done us proud again - they just get better and better!

best

My goodness, these look to have some amazing f&f. Mine arrived at my other address today so I'll pick em' up tomorrow, I can't wait!!! Thanks for all the pics ya'll.

Mine came today also. It seems to be just about perfect. The blades are centered, the pull is very nice, and I can't find a gap anywhere. It's not very sharp, but that's no big deal. Thanks again to Kevin, Manfred, Ash, Gene, and everyone else involved in making this happen. It was a bit of a rough start this year with the change in ordering, but it sure did turn out fantastic!
