2012 LE Bladeforums Skyline Discussion

I knew that I wasn't going to be one of the people to get an early order; after all, I ordered later than the majority. I think he's sending them out by dates ordered. Which actually, is the way to do it, as there was special gifts for the first couple hundred orderers.

I'm all good.. I know mine will show up at home soon.
 
Makes sense I ordered my mine I first joined in June/July. I've waited this long, I can wait another couple days/week.

I'm in the exact same boat, it's all good. Just would have been nice to know if all knives were being shipped at one time or slowly over the course of a week or two. It's little transparency things like that, that are not difficult to let people know. Knives look great though.
 
I'm not sure, but I think I was one of the first 50 or so to order this knife. I received mine yesterday, it's awesome, there was nothing else in the box. I believe, someone with more motivation might want to check the original thread, that Spark said IF the knife sold out on pre-sale there would be gifts and doo-dads and trinkets...after all the hulabaloo about the FFG I'm honestly just glad to have gotten the knife.
Thanks very much to Spark, and Kershaw. I really hope this isn't the only BF knife I have the opportunity to purchase.

I ordered my 1st one on April 16th (I'm guessing that's the one that arrived today) and the 2nd one in Oct.

The Jul purchase was the Trad Forum knife. :o

My Pay Pal transaction is dated 05/19/2012 and I haven't received mine yet, so I don't think that order of purchase is necessarily linked to shipping order.
 
Got number 462 in today. Really like the blue! The stonewash is more subtle than I thought it'd be but also very nice. I like it much more than the standard bead blast.

I was a very early order; nothing extra in the box. Honestly, with the FFG debacle (not to mention how this all came to be in the first place) I don't expect there are going to be any special extras in anyone's box, with possibly one exception for the very first ordered.

I ordered 2 on 4/17/12 and haven't received anything yet, so +1 on that.
 
Ordered mine 4/17/12 and still haven't got my package. It seems like the first orders would be sent out first. Hopefully it will be here today.
