2012 LE Bladeforums Skyline Discussion

It must have only been up for a couple minutes, I never seen it. I agree and hope those who are looking for a certain number get the chance to swap!
 
I'm really looking forward to mine after seeing all of these pictures!

I have to say that the Skyline with S30V is even more awesome than I imagined. I've been using mine and it's just perfect. The thin blade stock and the overall design is sweet!
 
Those are numbers 260 and 469. Hmmm, I haven't seen anyone want those numbers so perhaps no harm there. I doubt the seller is looking for profit, probably just to get back what was paid for whatever reason. If I were really to hazard a guess, they got a few of them, and picked out the ones they liked best. Perhaps for reasons of edge consistency or something. Hmmmm, oh well, I'm still waiting for mine anyway.

"This Skyline is better than normal ones due to the upgraded S30V steel, stonewashed blade and the blue G10. It is the nicest Skyline out there. I purchased 3 of these and am keeping 1. These 2 are up for sale due to the long time it ended up taking until production was complete."

He did forget the flat ground part.

Why not give those on here that wanted one or another a chance before putting it up over there for next to no profit. The only thing I can come up with is they do not want to pay for a gold membership and decided to put them up over there.

I am tempted to buy them and post them on here for the members instead of some outsider getting them:D, Just to be clear, that was joke!

Whatever their reason it doean't matter much. Their money, their knives. Not everyone is a stand up altruistic person. On a personal note, I couldn't possibly care less who it is or why. I will say it might be someone that might not even contribute to the community overall.
 
The guy selling them is Leek Freak here on the forums! He's a good guy, and probably forgot he pre ordered them and is why he is selling. He has been selling alot of his collection off as his priority have changed. I'm sure he could make a profit if he wanted to but is just trying to sell them. I'm sure he would of here if he was a Gold Member.

Back on Track! Those knives look amazing! I love that Blue. looks way better then I could have imagined. Wish I didn't have to cancel my preorder before for unseen life fun..... But if anyone has number 22 lemme know!
 
Its not immoral to sell a blue Skyline for profit. Kershaw and Spark both did it. And had they not done so, we would never have received them to begin with. :thumbup:
 
I am guessing some are selling them on ebay because they were not wanting to cancel their order on here after the whole ffg/fg thing happened

Totally agree. That is the reason I bought 2 in the first place. It is just sad to see them up for sale already when some of us haven't even gotten the ones we paid for months ago. :(

Nothing here yet. I am like a kid on Christmas every day running down to the mailbox to look for them. Luckily I got my 0350OR from Dave today, so it wasn't a complete loss. :p
 
Ok, so I am guessing all of the LE Blue Skylines are way past order date since everyone is anxious to receive theirs? Wasn't too excited about them when the original sales thread was up but holyahallapallooza those member pics look saaawheeaaat!
