totally agree brother Rev. I guess I was thinking personally that I would have done it here first before going there. I do not care who it is either, not me, not my problem! I'm sure whomever it is they have their reasons.

Very true! Again, was just me thinking aloud of what I would have done. I wish I had the cash to bring them back over here!

I'm just happy I have one enroute to me in the near future!

It was I that bought a 1760BFC on eBay for $120 and consider myself blessed! I just joined BladeForums last week and thats when I learned about the 2012 Skyline. I was way late to the party and thought I had missed out. I did email Spark to inquire about extras and was even willing to offer more for the cause, but I never received a reply and I certainly understand why, but I was hopeful! The Skyline is one of my favorites and the 1760BFC is a must have for me.. now if I could only find the red Snap-on and DAM.. Great site folks! Thanks for having me.

Welcome to BFC! Congrats on getting a chance to own a great little knife. Nice to know that it went to someone who appreciates it.

Being in Canada, I expected things to take a while... but I was super-happy to get a paypal notification today that I was to send an extra $8 for shipping 25mins ago. So with luck i'll have it in hand soon. I'm hopeful it will arrive before christmas, but this time of year you never know.

The way it looks to me it seems the USA clients may have gotten preference serial-number wise (I kinda like the low #'s but maybe i'm just crazy). Seems like maybe the USA people got theirs shipped out first and then the international orders were emailed and will now be processed when the extra shipping has been paid.

I think the last part is true, but the first part is not. I only say this because it looks as if they are all over the spectrum. I seen 1 number 500 and a couple that were in the double digits. So there is a chance you may get a lower number.
 
I don't think Spark is paying attention to serial numbers at all. It seems to be more like you get what you get. I got #0296 on Friday. Check out the Serial Numbers thread.

wow someone already reported in with 499.. heh. Yeah I guess I don't really care. I'd just like to know what the system was. Even if it's just whatever was easiest on Spark, that's cool. If it's somewhat random as you say, Spark isn't paying attention; that seems fair.
 
I ordered three and aint seen hide nor hair of any thing yet .....LOL
I know they,ll be here sooner or later.
Of course Iam watchin the mail box ....LOL
 
Just got mine today. I'm so glad I waited for this. I like the blade a lot better than the regular Skyline, that little bit more steel makes a big difference in the feel over the original. Thanks again Spark for making this happen.
 
Im guessing most of you west coast guys should be receiving your knives tuesday/wednesday. Im in Minnesota and got mine today. They are making the trek across the country as we speak :)
 
I was getting worried but it looks like I'm not the only one who still hasn't gotten my knife. That's a relief.
 
anyone from illinois get their knife? trying to figure out if shipping is by order date or by region.
 
Anyway to figure out if there are any extras? I would like to try and snag one.
