2012 Schatt and Morgan Heritage series

This is my one and only example..... an ebony Jack... it's a great carry knife. I also was under the impression that all the Heritage knives were carbon steel.

Queen, RIP!!
Heritage series: I thought the knives and the concept were great!! Take a page from the old catalog, and make all the knives on it!!
But Queen dropped the ball!! They poorly, or hardly, promoted the knives, and financial troubles, plus I understand poor office environment, led to the project never achieving completion!!
Pity!! I liked the idea!!

I agree Charlie, the would of, could of, should of, on this one is larger. Not only would we have gotten some interesting knives, it could of been really fun seeing the old patterns come to life, and it should have been done with better execution.

These knives all look great. I watched them on a couple websites until they all sold, but I never did order one. Seemed like there were mixed reviews on the fit and finish and pull strength. It sounded like some runs were better than others.

waynorth waynorth Mate, need an answer, i am looking at purchasing a Schatt&Morgan, my first, the one i am looking at is a Factory Sample 1 of 1. What does this mean, i have seen the wording before but have never worried to explore what it actually means, any help much appreciated.

cudgee cudgee
My understanding is that, after they shut down, some of the displaced people scoffed up some parts upon leaving, and continued (and may still continue) to make knives. I consider these to have questionable value, because the stories behind them are murky!!
The knives may be fine to use, but I stay clear as a collector!!:(
They did little or no such marking in the good old days!!:p
