2013 BF Traditional draft proposal

the above answers my questions, I can understand the extra cost for international delivery, I was amazed to get my bf knife in germany so fast last year with no extra postage charge, but I'm happy to pay more for mutual security. I'm also really happy that it is GEC on board and that they are as enthusiastic about it as we are.

I really like the sentiments expressed in this...

This years knife is not exactly "my cup of tea", but I'm still buying one (or two). "We" need to have a certain number pre-sold (committed to) in order to go into production. Though this isn't the knife I'd have designed for myself (no Rams horn... again. :p ;) ), there are many here who REALLY want to see this knife produced and made available to them... If my buying one or two can give "us" the numbers needed to make it happen, then I'm glad to do it. I'll be proud to carry another knife that was essentially designed by the good people who make this site the wonderful place that it is. It will ride in my pocket for a solid year (at least) until the next year's "creation" comes in the mail! I expect that this one will also grow on me as have others.
 
I too am not much of a synthetic guy but I think the Ivory Micarta and the design look very nice and the knife will be a great carry! Im going for 2

Yeah this will be me as well. It will probably end up as a gift to someone. Steven
