Heard from GEC on the Forum knife! The Jack comes in at 3 11/16" closed with a 2 15/16" main blade. A new pattern for GEC again this year!
Here are the pics and a couple of drawings. The drawings do not show a shield but we have asked them about that.
So the wheels are turning even though it seem like forever some days.

A little larger than I expected, but looks good. I'm okay without a shield. Just make sure it's ivory, not white...

i really like how they keep the profile low and the joints too!

Nicely done! Nice size and nice profile. I dig the pinched Bolsters, nice touch...imho

For some reason I can't upload the pics! I've asked my partner to bail me out, so the pictures will be forth coming! I hope :D

Sooooo! Cool!

That is a new Congress pattern for them I believe!! And those are Rat-Tail bolsters!!! Finally!!!!
Yeah Baby!!

Woodrow, It looks like the long pull goes out past the pen, so I'd guess access will be no problem.
I like the Sheepfoot profile - not so high it becomes a lump, but still fairly wide.
I am definitely buying more than one!!

Are the handles going to be ivory micarta???

Tada! Notice the extended spring on the pen blade, as well. :)
No word yet on cover material.

Careful, now. GEC displayed rat-tail bolsters in the drawn mock-ups of the 2012 BF knife, but they weren't on the final bolsters.

But, one can hope! The pattern does look good, as drawn.

Nice work, guys!

Even with a swedge you should be able to pinch the main blade. I'd like it a little lower, but this really looks good. Must have ivory micarta!

I'm thinking more than one also...
