2013 BF Traditional Forum knife update

That part is out of our hands. We are just the poll takers, the owner of Bladeforums handles the $ part. I am assuming that he asked for quotes from other manufactures as well. We are just reporting what information we have received so far.

Small grail. All the features we've asked are in the design. Once again GEC succeeded in making dreams come true.
I am very curious about the handle material.

Price not known at this time. Last year price was announced when orders were taken.
 
Very cool. I wasn't thinking I would be interested in this knife but after seeing the drawings and mock up I'm starting to feel like I need it! How many do they usually make in past years?
 
That looks like a fantastic representation of what was chosen. I am going to do my best to get in on this year, even if it has a pen blade :p The light texture of a fine white micarta will set this off nicely!!

Or for a Christmas miracle GEC decides to do a free upgrade to white pearl looking glass because we are all so awesome!!!

Isn't it typical for knives with sunk joints to have a small notch in the frame for access to the nail mark?

Pattern looks spot on!

I think this would be a good candidate for crushed seashell acrylic.
