2013 fish pic thread

Its been 6 months and nobody has started one. I got out for the first time yesterday. Caught about thirty bass nothing big. Kept six to eat under the slot limit. Didnt catch any over the 12" to 15" slot. caught a bunch in it. Water is 74 degrees high and muddy. Fish were caught shallow with white spinner and buzz baits and about 8 foot deep with a Strike King red Eye shad.

I am lucky to have a private lake to catch these monster bluegill. A basket full of these make for a goooood meal!

Had my brother-in-law over last week and he snagged this one on his second cast. Not his first bass but his biggest. He said it's the biggest fish he's ever caught.

Unfortunately I do most of my fishing alone and I learned the hard way not to take electronics in the kayak so no pics of me. I did catch a 15~ Bowfin a couple weeks ago though. I had no idea what it was when I brought it up.
