2013 fish pic thread

Caught a nice mess of walleye this weekend and some pike and smallies but I figured this thread could use a little diversity....
How about some hard water fishing??

Ha ha, thanks man.
When the lakes are frozen almost half the year you gotta adapt!

Wish i had something to add here... all small fish this year, when i catch them. The weather has been so messed up i dont even think the fish know what's going on. Good catches though everybody! My catches last year though....

Suzuki, the year is still young! Besides, it's fishing, not catching. Just get out there! Throw a pic up of something next time just to keep things fresh. I love seeing all the fish different areas have to offer

You love the large mouth eh dipbait?? You definitely got them dialed in, well done! I can't wait till I can get one, only catch small mouth around here but I love them!

Couldn't resist....sorry guys hope you don't mind.

A couple lakers and smallies from mid May with my brother in law.
My favorite spring time fishing by far!
Sorry, wife's instagram work but you get the idea....

Sullie, I fish for everything. Largemouths are plentiful an fun to fish for , so I get lots of them. The river I fish smallmouths for has been flooded all year.

Nice Knottyeagle! Those are blue gill right? I've always wanted to find a small pond stacked with some slabs like that, always looks like a blast. Same with the large mouth bass. But unfortunately there doesn't seem to be too many of either around here.
Well done guys, keep em coming!

I gotta go fishing this long weekend. Hope to have some decent pics for you guys!

I dont think I will get a chance to fish again until August.Today I caught these two on back to back cast plus the usual six to eat. The two larger ones were caught on a brown plastic lizard . The others on a vintage rattleless Rebel Deep Wee R.

Wow, Jason. I didn't know people fished for Cichlids- not in the US anyways. Pretty sweet. And I never realized Tetras had teeth like that! Or is that just a particularly nasty one?

That Tetra is typical of the Mex Tetra's down here. I love going to florida and fishing the Canal's; you never know what you'll catch. You can also catch loads of Oscars:

and some Spotted Tilapia

I don't know how the Spotted Tilapia taste. We've got the Regular Blue Talapia around here in the rivers and lakes. They're HARD to catch with rod and reel but bows and spear fishing is fun and they taste GREAT.
