Wouldnt it technically be an equal ended jack knife? :D

A three bladed equal end serpentine easy open jack with an awl and a cap lifter with white linen micarta winter bottom bone stag scales, oh and can we keep it under$50.

Seriously, where do I sign up for the half congress? ;)

"half"...was waiting for the dirty word to be used ;)

In all seriousness I can not wait for the polls, this will be fun

I've been here for all seven forum knives these threads and the process of choosin' all the materials and pattern etc, are what keep me entertained and content for my 1 yearly knife splurge.

Make sure ya keep lookin' in the traditional forums for the polls and updates with the obligatory chat thread.

This really is the only forum I regularly frequent anymore(to many times a day, honestly). Ill even throw my hat in the ring to help if needed.

Doubletap

I've noticed a lot of this kind of thing. Don't exactly know what's going on, but it is aggravating. I get the pop-up window that asks "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" If I clik on "yes" either I go to the "advanced dialog" which will gives me "you must wait 60 seconds between posts. I just come back to the page I was on, and generally my post show up. I was thinking it was just me for a while, but I see it happening to a lot of you folks too.

I've noticed a lot of this kind of thing.

MANY users, all accessing a single database at the same time. Conflicts happen. I hear tell Spark is working with the techies on it. But, during the hours when the forums are busiest, I'm not terribly surprised that the software gets overloaded.

Bump

<whisper> TC single blade clip barlow in Damascus with Ebony, Snakewood, or Amboyna. :D

I am still for a large serpentine stockman. Clip point, coping or sheepsfoot on one end, bottle opener/screw driver on the other.:D

Has a gunstock ever been done? Ebony would be different too.

We did Ebony on the 2010 Moose Pattern

Add a cap lifter for one of the blades. :D

Cap lifter on the 2011 EO Candlestick Jack

New guy here, hope to get in on this. Second the cap lifter :)

See above comments.

Welcome to the process guys if ya check out the rest of the post there are several pictures and descriptions of all the past forum knives, this is the thread to bat around ideas. Keep in mind we're always tryin' to do something a little different but we always have to work within the constrictions of what manufacturers can do an SFO for us within our budget.

Do a search on some of the previous forum knives, (we've been doin' 'em since 2006) and you'll get idea of how these are done.

These knives are like givin' birth, it takes just about as long, can be just as painful and as joyous, also it makes ya part of a growin' family on the Traditional' s Forum.

3 5/8-3 7/8 equal end with spear or bull nose and an awl in canvass micarta. I can't get behind the congress, but I'd vote square bolsters if congress is the victor.

I have a small gunstock jack pattern with a spear and pen, its a smaller size gunstock around 3". The bottom bolster is beveled. It's a replica and got it just to try out the pattern and like it a lot. I would give this pattern some thought, although I am sure a 3" knife would be too small for a lot of people. If someone suggests a caplifter or a hobo spoon for this pattern I'm sending them a bomb in the mail. :D

I'd really like a nice cattle knife...
