Loud and clear bro! Simple words like that have to be taken seriously there is a lot of country in the Cherokee NF . Its hard to hear the screams over the distant banjo music
 
Will there be a trading session or whatever at the gathering?? I may bring along a couple of Busse's, never used, just stored. Magnum Bear Cub and Basic LE 4. Have not figured out prices yet but they will be reasonable/less than what I see similar Busse's selling for.
 
Last one I went to there was a few people with stuff for trade. It was more informal than "this is trading time".

Then I will be bringing a couple of them. I may just bring my suppressed Savage 22 instead of the AR. Much easier to clean afterwards....
 
Ahh! I knew it. The second one is the one I remember. That first one looks pretty nice. It's a 5.56/.223 judging by the mag right? If you bring it I'll bring some rounds and clean it for you. I have been kicking around getting a can for my ar but just can't seem to "pull the trigger". The monstrosity was a 45 right?

The can I have on my AR is actually for a 45 so I have to shoot sub-sonic rounds. If I get my barrel that I ordered (supposed to be here on Tuesday or Wed) I will have a really interesting new thing to play with. I have made the decision to build a 300 Blackout. That one will use my standard AR platform with a 175 gr. 30 cal bullet from a modified 223 casing.

Hopefully I will get in time to build... Otherwise we can shoot some 22 and .45 through it.

Almost forgot. The Monstrosity is a 45 cal.
 
I will definitely pick your brain at the gathering then. That 300 Blackout is a mean looking round. AAC is right in my neck of the woods. I would love to co-op or intern with them while I'm in school.
 
Someones gonna have to be prepared to snuggle Moose, as I will not be there. He likes to be scratched behind his ears, and hes a good hugger......

And let me allay at least some of the ammunition concern.. I have never bought ammo for it - only components and loaded the cartridges myself. Costs less that way though not exactly cheap. I have two recipies - one is for a 400gr bullet that I want to take to Maine and shoot a bear with in September. Deadly accurate at reasonable ranges but a beast to shoot. The other recipe is a 350 gr Hornady, reasonably accurate and less recoil though still pretty impressive out of an AR. I have enough of those to go around and I don't mind shooting them up; we'll just appoint someone to catch the brass!! :o



Looking forward to the weekend; will be on my way at zero dark thirty tomorrow.
