That's a cool idea. I don't have any "everything else spot on" blanks ready for that kind of testing, but if anyone's interested I could bring a ground and HT'ed blade or two for folks to examine, sharpen, and beat the snot out of, up to and including destruction. I could knock a basic edge on 'em... you don't want to be setting bevels on these things with an Arkansas stone
