KAI rightly deserves it imo.....can't understand why the 0392 didn't win, a little surprised the Hijinx won TBH

Also surprised at Lionsteel beating CRK for quality

I thought ZT 0392 would win the Collaboration Knife Of The Year.

People continuously underestimate LionSteel. Last year it finished second in quality to CRK.

Lionsteel produces some amazing midtechs. What other company produces for multiple Companies plus puts out some fantastic models under their own branding at such a high level of quality.Off the top of my head I really can't think of any other knife producer that operates similar the Lionsteel model. They deserve the Manufacturing Quality Award.Heck the CRKT Overall Knife Of The Year is actually produced by Lionsteel.

Does anyone have any pictures or info on the Shun Dual Core?

Grats to all the winners!

Chris Reeve got tired of winning the quality award every year and begged Blade to give it to someone else this year. LOL!

Jokes aside, well done LionSteel. You deserve it.

No awards for custom-made knives? Why?

Nothing like "Custom-made knife of the year"? Or "Custom maker of the year"?

Or am I missing something here?

The hijinx was reallly nice and smooth! And wow it was bigger than I thought it would be. Crkt knives as a whole impressed me as a whole this year

That Klax contraption costs $550. Seriously?!

Did the Blade Award adjudicators test that thing in its role as an axe head? I wonder. No weight as I expect from an axe head. Cant help being sceptical.

I didn't think this one was available yet. Are they voted by other makers?
Cheers

I can't help wondering what the heck it is? It looks like an axe head, all right. But the "tri" in the product's name leads me to believe it's more than that.

OK. I just looked it up on Klecker's website and here's what I got. It's a Titanium Axe Blade, Hammer Head, Hex Wrench Set, 1/4” Bit Drive Socket, Bottle Opener, Lanyard Hole, Caribiner, Ruler and KLAX Clamping System all rolled into one. Looks like the perfect gift for the man who has everything.

(Darn. Where's that gif of somebody using a chain saw to open a bottle when I need it! . . . Ah, there it is: )

The TiDust made by LionSteel just blew my mind.
The CRKT Hi Jinx was also manufactured by LionSteel, as mentioned above.

Whether you like their designs or not,
you have to admit that LionSteel's craftsmanship is at the top.

And the Klecker Knives Tri-Klax has a fundraising project over at the KickStarter,
you might want to check that up.

Congrats to Lionsteel. I have been in love with the form and function, fit and finish, of my Tispine. It may be my favorite folder. I love the lockup sound of the integral

If the word "sexy" can be applied to a knife design, the TiSpine is the sexiest knife I own. As I said before, leave it to the Italians . . . :D
