I managed to snag this sunbrite sheeplifter off of the exchange a few days ago. A very special knife for me, here she sits with my sheep Beerlow. I still don't know if my beerlow was the first of its pattern, but I am inclined to think so... Any one know any different? Now I just need to get my hands on a rendezvous special CL scout...

I feel better now that I just missed out on that one on the exchange. Glad its a special knife for you. It seriously took the rest of the day to get over not landing that knife.

I only mod common 15's(mostly nifebrites), I wouldn't dare mod something special unless its a specific request, and even then, I am quite hesitant. I have kept more 15's in pristine condition than 15's I have used to modify.

In other words... feel free to trade me for that beerscout, and be assured I won't modify it

-- The only GEC I've offered up for re-handling, a Radio Jack, was covered in NifeBrite. I purchased it for the express purpose of turning it Blue.

It would have been hard to sacrifice beautiful bone, or ebony for that matter, but Nifebrite in and of itself holds no great appeal to me (although I think it's a brilliant choice for a "boy's knife").

Yon SunBrite, on the other hand...? Fantastically classy looking stuff, and it glows in the dark!

I don't think there will be any trading going on for that Beerscout - or at least a rare knife would have to be offered. At least, we get to see it in lovely pictures! :thumbup:
