Tough call. I really wanted to go CSC for a nice knife and to switch up the manufacturers, but that GEC just really trips my trigger. Had to go GEC 2 blade. I'll happily pony up for whatever gets chosen though. We have a great selection of choices and none of them are losers.
Love the way things are going this year, great work everyone  I'd prefer 1095 over 440c, but will buy at least one however it goes. I'm inclined towards the GEC offering I think, but it's a tough choice, and a tough choice between the 2 GEC offerings. At the moment, I'm edging towards the single blade, but am going to ponder a while before voting
While it's a nice simple poll,I do notice a slight flaw in that the votes for 1095 are split between 3 patterns.
In for a single blade (for a change).
Preference for stainless (I would have gone for CSC's D2 as well, and 1095 is fine anyway).
My vote goes for the CSC (which we've also seen "live" )
If GEC should win, I hope CSC will produce a run of their prototype anyway
I do like GEC, a proven quality product. That second blade will be useful i just wish it was a coping blade.
I do not care for 440c and i dont know CSCs work.
I love:
Multi blades
Different lengths of blades
Bolster treatments
New frames
Long pulls
Swedging
Enough handle to show off the stag properly
Therefore the GEC two blade blade offering is by far my choice!!! Plus the fit and finish on the CSC knives I have had left me less than impressed on the natural scale models I have handled. If CSC does get the nod I hope the do the stag proud and leave the bark mostly intact.
To me GEC is offering the better bang for our buck.
