I think both cutleries put up great choices in the end. Many thanks to all involved in getting this going this year and a big thanks to GEC and CSC for participating. I have cast my vote and am in regardless of the outcome. Everyone wins this year!

I voted GEC single blade, but I'm in for whatever is selected. Thanks to all involved with this years offerings. This seems like a much simpler and hassle free way of doing things.

GEC two blade here, but I'm in for at least two of the final product, whatever is chosen. They're all great looking knives! Big thanks to Charlie, John Lloyd, all the folks at GEC and CSC, and everyone else who's had a hand in making this happen!

GEC 2 blade gets my vote. I like the drawing very much and I can almost feel the stag and nicely finished bolsters of that knife :)

Thanks very much to all those who worked to bring us to this point. This place is something special. My vote's in, and regardless of outcome, I'm in for a knife.

Was there any mention of when the poll will close?

I have not talked with Charlie about how long to run the poll, but I'm sure it will be plenty long enough to give everyone a chance to VOTE! ;)

I voted for the Canal St. 1095 as I think the stag will look best on this knife. When you have to fit stag on both ends to bolsters....problems.....especially 300 times. Much of the bark will have to be ground off if you have a slight hump or a slight saddle. Just my 2 cents.

To this point, as well as just my aesthetic preference, I wish the GEC was a barehead. I'm still undecided. I wish the CSC had a two-blade option.

Great options. I surprised myself and chose the Canal Street Single Blade 440C. GEC is offering a gorgeous design, but I am leaning toward pocketable and simple this time around. I felt sorry for the stainless faction, too.

I answered the poll before I read what John posted above, but it is a great point. I think part of the reason I like the CSC offer is the exposed end. Not much use using stag if you grind most of it off.

I guess these just don't interest me this time around.

I wish we could have had this little tid bit of info on the first page! Us CSC voters might be on top of the polls right now. ;) I just hope that even if GEC wins this bid that CSC will see how much interest there is for a pattern like this and make one anyway!

Thanks to all doing this. I don't post much, but read much to learn. Might just have to get one of those. Very nice! SJF

Well, my vote went to CSC 1095, love 1095 and yet to own anything from CSC. However, if GEC makes this years knife, I am sure it will be a hit, the last few have been compliment magnets as well as good old pocket knives. :)

This carries a lot of weight with me, and gives me more appreciation for the 2009 pattern.
