However this turns out, many thanks to everyone making it happen. Excited to get a chance at a forum knife this year!

Thanks to Charlie, John Lloyd, Kevin, Dave and any others working behind the scenes for giving us this opportunity! Thanks to Canal Street Cutlery and Great Eastern Cutlery for presenting us with excellent choices! It really is a Win-Win situation for all who love traditionals.

I have been asked a couple of times "How long will the poll run" Well today I was asked to close the poll on the 4th Of June. This date was set to ensure that the delivery of The Stag can be done at the Blade show. So you have 2 weeks to make up your mind. I have also added this information to the OP.
THIS POLL WILL RUN THRU THE 4th OF JUNE. IT WILL CLOSE @ 12AM JUNE 5th

Thank You All,
Dave

Man. I was really hoping if GEC was going to win, it'd be the single blade. Single in that length is just so pocketable.

Dave, this is a one shot poll, who ever gets the most votes wins? No poll off between the closest two? Especially considering if GEC wins and the difference between single blade and two blade is so close, the members who voted for the single blade CSC might swing over to the single bladed GEC.

When you look at the totals there's a higher count for single blade vs two blade over all.

I hope not Ted. Heck if you (meant in a general sense) re-run poll choices any poll can be rigged.

I KNOW that is not Charlie's and Dave's intent. Just a one-time poll is all that's needed. Top vote getter gets it even if only by a margin of one (1).

I voted for the 2 blade GEC, but will grin all the way to delivery of whichever knife wins. All 4 are great choices. I am in for 1.
Harold

You know that's fine by me, I have a few other questions but I'll bring them up before we cross that bridge.

I had a hard time deciding. I like 1095 and CSC's 440C. I like the GEC's pattern more, but I'd prefer if it were a barehead like the CSC. One blade or two is a tough decision as well. Most of my slipjoints have two blades. In the end I'll buy one of whatever wins.

Voted, crossing my fingers for it to be my pick, but I'm in for whatever one wins out! Looking forward to a piece of tradition! Thanks all who have put so much much time and energy into this.

To the best of my knowledge this is THE poll Ted. Charlie was trying to find the fairest way so both companies would have an equal chance.
If there is any change I will certainly let everyone know.

Dave

I like the narrow field of polling rather than a vast array of choices resulting in too many configurations. Lets -if I may make a funny- cut to the chase.
