2015 Blade Show THread

You still get to meet and hang out with the Guys..... Best part of attending a "Live" Show especially the after show parties.

Very true for sure. I am going to have to get there one of these years. Maybe after the wee ones are grown. Would really be cool to meet the RHK folks and some of you folks that haunt the forums.:D

Yeah, that would be rough. I've never made the trip to the mecca I am told Blade show can be, and I can only imagine how I'd be.

Surely there's a grey market organ donation center in the alley behind Cobb Galleria in Atlanta to help fund knife purchases.

It really takes "the Hobby" to the next level..... I enjoyed knives for most of my Life, really liked Hinderers ...... and then I went to my First show and walked in.
Rob and I had gotten to know each other on the Forum, phone, text email etc.
I was half way across the room and he looked up, took one look at me and immediately knew who it was. We ALL hung out the rest of the weekend Rick, Rob, Mike, Pete, Rene'....
Had a friggin' blast.
Been going ever since, been out to the Ranch. Now, ALL I really care about is that part. I have all the knives I could ever use or need. NOT saying I'm done collecting but,
If I go to a show and don't get one - I don't care.

It IS what makes RHK - my ONLY Knife.

Do you know how much a kidney would fetch? Enough for a custom?

That's nothing. People say I must have fell out of the Ugly Tree & hit every branch on the way down.
I better get back to work before I'm ugly & unemployed.
Hope everyone has a great time at Blade that can go.

I feel as if I've been kicked in the ballz...had planned to attend but no joy. Hope all have a good show!

It's been great so far! Lots of great stuff at the show thus far. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Was able to handle a XM-18 3.5 Blue Spear point :D
Don't know that I'll be able to get one but they are very nice knives.

Couple pics from the booth at Blade. Not the best quality but some cool stuff!

-a really cool non-flipper custom XM-24 spanto;
-the first armored 3.5" custom 18 skinner;
-the first armored XM-24 Bowie:

I managed to snag a 3.5 in spear point. This one is not leaving my pocket.
Planning on finding a blue black scale for it. Also picked up a couple tshirts and a new hat.
