2015 Busse Regrets???

A week into 2016 and I'm looking back at my 2015 year with Busse. It was a good year, picking up a Custom Shop SAR 3, TGLB, ASHBM, BWM, NMFSH, and a Ratmandu, but I can't help but think I let some get away either by not buying or selling knives I had. Anyone else have any Busse regrets from 2015, in particular any Operation Two Weeks regrets that keep lingering, especially with these "Let's see your xx knife" threads? I thought that I was being a good responsible grown up about my purchases during these Wednesday releases, buying only those knives I needed and a couple gift purchases I just couldn't pass up. Well, I think I may have been wrong, because now I want them even more and am willing to pay more as soon as they hit the exchange.

I remember the night the Battle Saw was released clearly because I had a good friend over for a fire in the back yard and I was showing off my ASHBM and how well it handled firewood. He REALLY wanted one. I brought up the Busse website and told him to order the Battle Saw because it was a great blade at as good of a price as you'll find for an INFI knife that big. He didn't order one. Neither did I. I decided my ASHBM was all I needed and I'd wait for something else. Ugh...I should have just bought it and sold it if I didn't like it (yeah right) or needed the money (more likely). Anyone else banging their heads off the wall for being bone headed and not buying an Operation Two Weeks knife/knives that now they HAVE to have or have any other Busse regrets from 2015?

My list of 2015 Busse regrets:
  1. Not buying the Battle Saw, Ash 2, or TGM CG (for my wife)
  2. Selling my 2007 Special Edition Argonne Assault...I want that one back
  3. Selling my SHBM 1/300...because "I'd never use it." Ugh...
  4. And not going to Blade Show. I'm going this year!

Here's to a 2016 without any Busse regrets!!! :)

Not buying the Desert Crusader. I've never been a huge fan of the TG series but that Desert Crusader was pretty damn sexy!

Battle saw will be one I'm sure.
 
What kind of sheath is that with the Argonne Assault?

It looks like an entirely leather version of a Spec-Ops sheath!

You're correct! It was the Spec Ops Combat Master Knife Sheath, Long in black leather. I just checked their site and I don't see it up there anymore. It wasn't the best pairing between knife and sheath, but it worked. Believe it was around $75-$80.
 
Not ordering a Battle Saw for sure....looking at the pics on that thread is killing me...but if any of the FBM's come out in operation 2 weeks then my regrets are over
 
I regret selling my mammoth Infidu. I also regret not buying a 2nd battle saw. There are a couple other blades I miss, but I have purchased so many great knives this year it's been a great year to be a Busse collector.
 
Not a regret really,, but part of me wonders if I should have gotten an AMS in Battle Grade SR101,, rather than INFI,,,

Not getting a TGLB when I had the chance, and only buying one Battle Saw!
 
Only that I didn't have enough funding to buy more.

Let's see, I got an R6 & one of the one off mmd protos at knob creek, and then went off the rails. Two swats, one infidu, one rmd, an ASHBM, three BG AD, two BG ASH, a Moabolo, two Regulators, a M9 & basic 8.

I started out the year with only a SOD.

I have several more on order from the shop.
 
Not having bought a TGLB when I had the chance, because I'm underwhelmed with the knife I went with instead of it.

Also not having bought any Busses since last year!

I would really ditch two thirds of my knife collection just for a few Busses, they're that good!

Nice! That's an impressive 2015 for sure. Hope 2016 treats you just as well.
