2015 Busse Regrets???

When you are ready, do as I did....call Lexi. You never know, you might get lucky. They might just have a few blanks around.....

Thats what I did and totally lucked out and got one. Ended up selling it but was nice to keep it in the north! Got my BG one on order I feel Ill be just as happy with it as I would my old infi custom shop.

Regrets? Hell yeah! I bought a battle saw. Muddy blade, tan handle. Ugh. What a piece of junk!!! I'm so disappointed... So, what I've decided to do is throw out the darn thing. Yeah, I was going to sell it, but I figured it would be too MEAN to pass it off to someone else. I mean, the thing is so horrible that no one deserves the headache. Battle saw = battle suck!

Since I'm not the only dolt out there who bought this terrible piece of vomit-inducing steel, I've decided to act charitably and collect all the unwanted battle saws. If you're a rueful purchaser (even if you don't know it yet, trust me, it'll set in -- and even if it doesn't, you should probably send it to me anyhow on account of its potential to make you feel bad about yourself), I highly suggest you mail it to me for proper disposal. I won't charge you anything. Just pay the shipping and I'll send you my address.

No more regrets!

^ The long way to say OINK! ;)

MY GOD!!!!!!!... How could you!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Because, Im a damn fool..

Ive had two other NMFSH's since, the .27-.29's are great but the BIG finish's @ .312 feel the most well balanced.

I need a drink.

Fortunate enough to have a member keeping a BIG on ice for me.

That Battle Saw... At least I have a KZII for consolation. I've been pretty cash starved after my first bout with Orthodontics last year, hopefully first and last. Watching the stream of new release notifications for the past few months was more painful than rearranging my teeth, not that I need any more choppers.

Not finding out about Operation Two Weeks until after the Ash and Battle Saw runs finished. Got killed on the secondary market for both.

I love that Argonne Assault blade. Honestly like the older one better than the newer version. Both are great looking knives, just really have an affinity to the older one I guess.

I kind of regret not getting the BIG SF ASH in the Ganzaaaa and the Crusader TG, but did well otherwise so I really cannot complain

Yea definitely let go of a couple that I miss quite a bit:

and others that I can't bear to show pictures of...this is painful enough!

Operation 2 weeks has been a painful lesson in learning to let things go but on the plus side, the SHe coming my way should be a keeper and ease a lot of the pain!

And we now possibly have green canvas as a shop option!

2016 is going to be a good year...

No huge regrets here. The only thing I discovered was I don't like tan canvas with a brown blade. Maybe not enough to sell my one and only ASH1 BG, but close. One solution is to literally use the shit out of it until I can't see that brown anymore, hahah. Either that or sell and pick up something I like - Black or Tanker with Black Micarta or G10. Anyone who wants to trade, just PM me, hahah.

Other than that minor detail, I loved 2015. I built a collection of great knives and an addiction to RES-C and slabs of SR-101... ok, I could have used a Battle Saw :) The two I am considering selling are the ASH1 BG and a Tanker / Black Micarta TGLB (Since I like the all black TG BG so much).

I wish I had picked up a second AMS double cut with black canvas. I love the one I did get.

Not getting a Basic 8 LE (got the combat grade)

Not getting in on the TG-M (I'm on the cancellation list)

Other than not getting somewhere between 1 and 20 of each new release, nary a one. Jerry and crew definitely did not disappoint. Even if I wasn't interested or couldn't justify the purchase to myself, the 'show' has great fun to sit back and watch. The 'Busse Channel'. What's that wacky gang up to this week? Tune in and find out.
Pete
