That's right, the 2015 Forum knife. What are your thoughts, ideas, and preferences. As stated in the title, it's never too soon to think about it, and given the smooth evolution that was the 2014 knife, early prior planning again will make for fair winds and following seas.

Well, there has to be someone to do the real work of it. There's a lot to it. And I don't think anyone has even made a hint of a suggestion that they would be interested in doing so. I would think those involved, especially Charlie with his Washington Jack going through production right after the 2014, will want a break from the forum knife project.

That said: stainless. 440c, or even something newer with higher qualities.

How about a single blade sheepsfoot on a 15 frame in SS with jigged natural bone covers?

I don't have much preference regarding the knife itself...for me it's about supporting the community. And with that in mind, I'd be happy to work on the artwork again, if needed.

Do you think there would be much support for a small frame knife? Maybe a gents knife?

This so soon after the 2014 knives. You Sir are awesome! Whatever comes to be after this year will be on my list of have to have knives. I truly hope the community feeling stays and the next one comes off as smooth.

As far as next year's knife goes? Not worrying on that one yet, as I am still so enamored with this years.

Here is T's great group shot of the past knives, maybe will help on what should come next?

Since I like to think early, it might be interesting if one of our leather sheath makers be part of the process, and design a Blade Forum knife specific sheath to go along with the 2015 offering; what do y'all think?

OK, here's my input, a Sod Buster Jr with a single bolster, full size "bird's eye" pivot, either in ebony wood scales, or in Tru Ivory (best faux elephant ivory on planet earth), or giraffe bone from the upper thigh (looks, feels, and ages like the real deal...ivory that is).

And maybe even go with a fixed blade EDC sized offering for the forum knife. Either that, or a large folder, as none of them so far have reached the 4" closed mark.

How about a single spear blade daddy barlow on the #65 Ben Hogan pattern?
