2015 Forum Knife - It's Never Too Early To Think About the Next Blade Forum Knife

a small frame knife?

single spear blade daddy barlow on the #65 Ben Hogan pattern?

A turkish clip with a sheepfoot blade on a serpentine frame:thumbup:

How about a shadow style?

a blade forum peanut

WE need a stainless knife for once...a Surveyor based on GEC's 81/2 frame. Clip master or Spear with Sheepfoot minor, single-spring

Aaaaaand we're off!
One of each please...

OK, here's my input, a Sod Buster Jr with a single bolster, full size "bird's eye" pivot, either in ebony wood scales, or in Tru Ivory (best faux elephant ivory on planet earth), or giraffe bone from the upper thigh (looks, feels, and ages like the real deal...ivory that is).

The dust has hardly settled from this last one, that being said, I would buy Alnamvet68's knife idea in a heartbeat.
That would be a beautiful folder.

My suggestion: a Surveyor based on GEC's 81/2 frame. Clip master or Spear with Sheepfoot minor, single-spring. Somebody mentioned we need colour so a special commissioned acrylic from GEC along the lines of Butter & Molasses/ Blood&Custard to imitate the fab Old School Cell - without its anti-social potential. Nice large shield. OK last orders for this one 31st Dec 2014....

Regards, Will

The Texas jack from last years thread in dead skunk or sea glass acrylic. Or a whaler with a locking spike in checkered black linen micarta.

Peanut.

Maybe make the secondary blade something other than a pen, just to make our forum peanut unique. Coping, or a punch/awl.

Maybe if I ever had a Elephant's Toenail/Sunfish to play with I might be swayed but I've never even held one, does RR make one? If so I might have to pick one up and see what the hub bub is about Bub. ;)

dunno if they do i have a S&M wildcat driller which is sorta similar pattern (tapered sleeveboard though) its a big honking knife, big wide blade, a real handful, granted its not the most pocket friendly but c'mon its an attention grabber! somebody wants you to open a package think of the crocodile dundee moment youll get to have!

The sheepsfoot/caplifter 15s always seem to draw a lot of attention. I'd like to see something with that combo. 3.5" isn't really my preference. I'd prefer to see something a bit smaller or larger. 25 or 78 would be my choices. I'd like to see something in wood, preferrably zebrawood. CSC, Queen or GEC would work fine for me. This is just a wishlist. I'll be interested to be around for the entire process this year.

I really like the idea of a bullnose or sodbuster style. Whatever it ends up being I'm going to make sure I get one next year.

Being as we are wishing out loud, I would like to see a serpentine jack-knife similar to the old Schrade Wrangler 93OT - with a turkish clip and a sheepfoot blade. OH

GECs perfect opportunity to make a peanut. Great idea digitalurbancamo.

How about a small 77 Washington to match this year's knife? I am thinking something along the peanut size maybe slightly larger.

YES...it would look great on the GEC 66 frame. I think it would benefit from a bail as well.
