The scales aren't wild and crazy, but they are pretty! I love it. Thank you everyone involved!!!

That was close!! Glad you got it before Christmas and that it's a real nice one. Merry Christmas!

Mine also arrived just in time for Christmas. The grain is pretty subtle, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. It was well worth the wait :)

This will go down as one of the more epic knives in a long line of epic knives -

Canal Street outdid themselves on these.

I have loved seeing all of the great knives posted in this thread.

Thanks to all!

Got mine in the first batch, but had to wait for Santa to deliver it this morning. It did a fine job of opening the presents. Beautiful knife and super sharp! I made the pocket slip for it. It's my first Forum Knife. It was great to be a part of the selection process. Thanks to all who had a hand in the 2015 Forum Knife. Merry Christmas everybody!

The year is coming to a close, this year's knife was nothing short of spectacular. Thanks again to the crew for all the work that went into a knife that'll probably be my favorite and one of the most sought after forum knives to date.

In my younger days I'd been known to attend a few New Years Eve parties and never once wore a tie, so for all those people who told me I should have a tie I say Happy New Years, here's my tie.

Well I found the time to post some pics in the other thread finally, so I'll do so here too! I'm very happy with the forum knife, both last year and this year I got scales that matched my liking very very well. It's a great knife overall that is in my pocket often so far, melts in my scrubs despite its full size, which I fully expected. I keep finding hidden faces in the handle patterns, which just means I look more often. Love the creamy/dark/reddish contrast to the shading. My re curves weren't very bad and will probably sharpen put in time, and as a user I'm not too worried. It cuts upon opening from the box too, so much so that I haven't sharpened it yet, too busy, but don't mind either!!

The gentleman behind the counter at the post office at 2:45 on Christmas Eve was great, looking through the boxes for me until finding it, even though the notice said come back after 1:00 next day (Christmas day, right!! 😏 ). But he was in great humour, and with nobody else in line he was happy to help!

Hope the knives treat everybody well in the new year, enjoy a new year full of knives, cuts, and each other!!

Fine example you got there Kris, has a kind of 'watermark' style to the grain. Useful to see it next to FK 14 as well (decent stag on that one too)

I'll be interested to hear your views of the 38 Whittler, in another thread, fantastic pattern in my opinion.

Regards, Will

Thanks Will. So far the .38 is a great knife, I've been making it alternate pocket time with this years forum knife. Both were decently sharp from factory in all regards- very surprising. I'm finding that the .38 has a grittier action even after flushing, but as that handle shape is one of my favourites, it's fitting right in. Very svelte, easy on the pocket, but then again I can say it for both. Although as always I don't care at all for the cloud shield.

I love the faces/eyes I keep finding in my forum knife!!

So here are a few photos of mine - it really is a lovely knife - so lightweight, I really like that. And closes with beautiful snap.

Patience certainly is a virtue  How old is this wood?? want to count the rings?:D

This arrived yesterday, many thanks Barry  Not only exceptional timber but quite a strong pull-just as I like, fantastic snap and no gaps. By far the best CS knife I've owned, thank you to those who made it.
